Brodsworth Welfare

Broddy is a tidy little set up being fair, although a fair few of my compatriots tend to disagree. They are trying to do a fair bit of tidying up around the ground, repairing storm damage and the like, and the results are looking promising. With the club sharing the ground with Premier Ladies team the Doncaster Belles, the ground gets a fair bit of use. Even with this, you'll be hard pressed to see a game called off.

Behind the goal to your right hand-side is a natty little clubhouse, you'll bound to be made welcome there, the officials are great. On the subject of officials, the gateman is an absolute gem, he never ceases to give me something to laugh about even if he does swear at me every time I've been. Another little starter is the appearance of souvenirs, badges etc, these are available from the food hut. The only downside for me here IS the food hut, not the best lets say, and leave it at that.

For a while this programme was a bit on the poor side, then one of two things happened. Either Welfare got a new programme editor or the existing one got a computer. Seemingly overnight (well between a close season anyway), the programme became readable, and so it is now. It isn't the best in the league by any means, but you'll get a lot worse. It's still a bit of a cut 'n' paste effort, but at least there's still some original content.
