Armthorpe play in
the Central Midlands League, currently in the Supreme Division. The Welfare Ground is one of the most friendly grounds in the region, a fact that
never ceases to amaze me with every visit. The facilities in the ground aren't the best, to be honest they are a little on
the basic side. One thing they can be proud of is the pitch, probably the best in the Doncaster area.
Whilst it is a friendly
and pleasant place to visit, the souvenir selection isn't much better than many others at this level. Badges have been made
available in the past, whether they still are I don't know, but I have yet to see a programme at a game I have visited there.
I haven't seen a copy of this club's programme at the moment, however
I am assured one is produced (it's also Central Midlands League Rule 11.(D) that states all member clubs must produce one)
although to what quality I don't know. I will give a mark when I get one.
